PI Zaandam or Judicial Complex Zaanstad (JCZ) is a new correctional facility built to replace prison complexes in the region, such as The Bijlmer prison, The Koepel in Haarlem and Tafelbergweg Penal Institution in Amsterdam. The complex opened on June 1st, 2016 and used by the Amsterdam Penal Psychiatric Centre.

An area of 68,000 square meters accommodates over a thousand prisoners in 667 cells. Van Vuuren developed doors in compliance with resistance class legislation, especially for this project.
