Van Vuuren and its partners have achieved numerous improvements already. Together, we reduced logistics movements, promoted sustainable material utilisation and cut carbon emissions throughout the value chain.
Sustainability first
For the raw materials and products, we rely on people and the planet. Therefore, sustainability and safety are held in high regard. All our doors, safety measures and HR protocols are certified to ensure the quality of our products and the well-being of our staff.
The strength of the chain
Becoming sustainable will only happen if everyone makes the much-needed effort. We strongly believe in value chain cooperation and working towards common goals, including sustainability objectives. As a member of the Dutch Timber Manufacturer Association, we are actively involved in getting the industry more sustainable and future-proof.
Materials
Material choice has a big impact on the degree of recyclability. To understand our products better, experts made a lifecycle analysis and wrote environmental product declarations.
We are now working towards full cradle-to-cradle certification for all our products whilst complying with the latest legislation on functional doors.
